Mysterious towers appeared scattered around the world known as Bastions, stretching beyond the clouds, granting a small percentage of those who entered an ability unlike anything seen before through a strange marking on their body. These markings were called Sigils. 

From controlling elements, to altering the world around them, the abilities granted through a sigil had no limits, and because of this, humanity was hurdled into a state of chaos and confusion.
Those who used their sigil to satisfy their desires, inflicting pain and suffering to whomever they wished, leaving a trail of mayhem and destruction behind them, were known as Blazers. 

However, there were those who chose to use their sigil abilities to aid others. 
Praised globally for being the driving force against the brutality of Blazers, those who fought to protect, rather than destroy, were known as Guardians, the people's protectors. 
Proposed by nation’s leaders and kings from around the world, with Guardians now under their control, a unified governing organization was founded to lead the forever-changed landscape of humanity to a harmonious future, Paragon.

As the conflict between Blazers and Guardians had no end in sight, an incentive was offered to the public by Paragon. Enter a Bastion upon reaching the age of sixteen with the chance to obtain a sigil. If so, become a Guardian, becoming their weapon to fight against Blazers, while living a life filled with admiration, wealth, and power. 

Every year, thousands travel to the Bastions hoping to obtain a sigil.
Koba and Leo are two teenage boys living in the outskirts of Kassamino City, intent on acquiring a sigil with dreams and aspirations to change their futures forever.
